EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Department of Justice
Planned and Implemented complex education and training programs for a nationwide collections operation involving the US Attorneys’ Offices and private counsel across the nation.
The system was used to manage collection of federal debt and provide summary reporting to DOJ management and congress.
Our staff began by training end users across the country. During this training, we identified educational, operational and systemic issues that we presented to the DOJ stakeholders.
As a result of this study, our staff implemented a nationwide train-the-trainer program to identify skilled resources among the existing staff at the USAO level to reduce training costs within the private counsel offices.
When DOJ stakeholder and private counsel reporting efforts failed to meet congressional requirements, our staff launched an aggressive plan to retrain the field staff and correct the data in the system. This training improved data integrity and provided accurate congressional reporting.
